The Hidden Pressure: What Teenagers Don’t Always Say Being a teenager today is not as easy as it may seem. On the outside, many people think that teenagers just go to school, spend time with friends, and enjoy life. But behind that, there are a lot of silent struggles that are often not seen or understood by others. Teenagers deal with pressure from many sides. There are expectations from parents, teachers, and even from themselves. Many feel the need to meet high academic standards, choose the right path for their future, and make decisions that they may not fully be ready for. This pressure can sometimes lead to stress, anxiety, and self-doubt. Another challenge is dealing with emotions. At this stage of life, teenagers are still trying to understand themselves. Feelings can be overwhelming, and not everyone feels comfortable opening up to others. Some choose to keep everything to themselves because they are afraid of being judged or not being taken seriously. Social media also ...

My Teachers That Inspired Me/Us

I am lucky to have many teachers in my life. Each teacher taught me something important, from school lessons to life lessons. Some teachers helped us understand difficult subjects, some taught us how to work with others, and some showed us how to stay disciplined and responsible. But my Senior High School teachers are truly the best. They are not only knowledgeable, but also patient, kind, and very encouraging. They guide the whole class, not just one student, and make sure everyone understands and does their best. Even when some of us make mistakes or feel confused, they never give up on us. They explain things again, answer our questions, and help the class learn together. I remember feeling stressed during exams and projects, but our teachers encouraged all of us. Their guidance helped the whole class feel confident and motivated. They taught us that mistakes are part of learning and that trying our best is more important than being perfect. Even outside schoolwork, my SHS teache...

A Life Lesson from Someone Unexpected

Sometimes, life teaches you lessons in the most unexpected ways. One day, I learned an important lesson from someone I didn’t even know very well. This person was not a teacher, a relative, or a close friend. I just noticed how they treated people around them with kindness  and respect. I saw them helping others without asking for anything in return. They would carry heavy things, smile at everyone, and listen when someone needed to talk. At first, I didn’t think much about it, but over time, I realized how much I could learn from them. Their small actions showed me that being thoughtful and helpful makes a big difference in people’s lives. Watching this person made me think about my own actions. I asked myself if I was being kind, respectful, patient, and helpful to the people around me.  And now, I’m slowly learning to adopt that habit/behavior.  I started paying attention to small ways I could help others, like helping my siblings, supporting friends, or even just be...

My Personal Achievements

One of my proudest personal achievements is learning how to balance my responsibilities at home and at school. At home, I help with chores like cleaning and organizing. Even though it can be tiring, I know helping my family is important. Doing these chores taught me patience, responsibility, and that even small efforts every day can make a big difference. At the same time, I focus on my schoolwork. I try my best to finish assignments, study for exams, and participate in class activities. Sometimes it feels overwhelming because I have so many tasks at once. But I learned to manage my time, plan my day, and take things step by step. Breaking tasks into smaller pieces helps me finish them without getting too stressed. I’m proud of my school achievements too. I’ve completed projects on time, improved my grades, and learned new skills I can use in the future. It taught me that personal success is not just about awards it’s about effort, learning, and growing. Balancing school and home li...

My Cousins

I have many cousins, and I feel very lucky to have them in my life. They are fun, caring, and always there for me. Ever since I was little, we have always played together. We laugh, share stories, and enjoy every moment. Even now, they are still there for me, supporting me and spending time with me. My cousins are not just family they are my friends. They always help me when I need it. They give advice, cheer me up, and support me in school and in life. Even when we argue or tease each other, I know it is because they care about me and each other. We have so many memories together. From playing games, celebrating birthdays, going out, or just hanging out at home, they have always been by my side. Playing together since we were young has made our bond very strong. My cousins have taught me so much about sharing, being patient, and caring for others, and also to be happy. They show me how to be kind, helpful, and how important family is. I am grateful for all the love, fun, and suppor...

My Titang Always There For Me

I have many titas, and I am very lucky to have them in my life. They are kind, caring, and always ready to help me whenever I need it. Whenever I feel hungry, they are the ones who buy food for me and make sure I eat. When my mama left, they became like mothers to me, guiding me, taking care of me, and making sure I was okay. My titas always support me in school and in life. Whenever I feel sad or have a problem, they are there to listen and help me. Even when they are busy, they make time for me and make me feel loved. I have many memories with them cooking together, celebrating birthdays, or just talking about life. They teach me lessons about being responsible, kind, and hardworking. I am grateful for all the love, care, and support they give me. My titas are more than family they are my friends, my guides, and my safe place. I know I can always count on them. I hope I can be as caring and supportive to others as they are to me.

My Two Brothers

I have two brothers, and I am the youngest in our family. Growing up with them has been fun, full of lessons, and sometimes a little hard, but I would not change it for anything. My brothers are not just my siblings they are my friends, my protectors, and people I look up to.  Being the youngest means I have always watched them and learned from them. Sometimes they can be strict or tease me, but I know they care. Even when they get mad at me, it is because they want what is best for me.  They are especially strict when it comes to people who like me or try to court me.  We share many memories together. From playing games at home to helping each other with chores, they have always been there. Even though we sometimes argue, the love we have is stronger than any fight. I always feel safe knowing my brothers have my back. They encourage me to do my best, help me when I struggle, and celebrate with me when I succeed. Being the youngest also means I learn from their experience...
